PAPA'S GIFT is a story about spirituality, family, love, and the meaning of life.
Ian Barrett MacLogan was a fighter pilot and amateur adventurer with insatiable curiosity. By serendipitous circumstances, he would study under an adept Spiritual teacher known as a Spiritual Traveler.
That tutelage gained Ian personal experiences within the subtle expanses many call their Heavens. He came to believe life itself to be a gift of love and if, while alive, one could be taught to experience these worlds of other dimensions, then personal proof of Heaven and proof of one’s own eternal consciousness could be realized.
To pass his experiences to his new grandchild Ellie Marie, Ian wrote a story portraying a future summer’s visit by Ellie as a more mature young person. Ian (Papa) tells stories about the spiritual nature of man and man's relation to the cosmos. Some conversations are aboard Papa’s old wooden boat, ‘Magic Time’. Papa relates experiences from his past.
Time passes. Ellie, now a young mother, visits her grandmother, Ellen (Nana). Ellie receives Papa's story and reads the gift from her late grandfather.
So fancy a modern novel with no villain to hiss.
